Topic: LOOKING FOR A JOB!

As you can see, we have just added a new category to our forums. If you are looking for a job or you know who might be hiring, please post it here.

If you are looking for a job, we suggest that you start a thread (topic) telling us what state you are looking in.  Just about everywhere is different in their hiring practices and requirements, but states will have some similarities within them. People will usually know more about their states.

If you know of a place that is hiring, be sure to put that place’s name in the title of your thread.

This website has just made a new page that talks about fire department hiring practices and training. That might be a good place to start.

I can't know when people glance here for useful tips...but I had this thought. I have had a thought now and then! Anyway, my FD recently changed our New Hire requirements again. While that may not be exciting trivia, please continue to look at those places you've checked with before. They may have some different criteria than they once did? Good luck out there.
