Topic: College degrees

Does anyone know anything about any college four year degrees?

I would like to finish my degree but most schools want you to take 50+ hours to get a degree regardless of the number of hours you may have from other schools.

Also, what does anyone know about tuition waivers in Texas?

Thanks

Re: College degrees

A number of Institutions do waive tuition (not books or lab fees) for courses in the FPT (Fire Protection Technology) programs in Texas. I'm not sure about four year Degrees being included in this program however, nor do I know much about other regions. For myself, I'm trying to get back to working on two Associates' now, a local FPT one, and that Emergency Management one partly based on my EMI coursework on line.

Unfortunately for me, several job attempts have left barely one foot in the door. Often it's due to not having yet completed the four year type Degrees. Some places still accept your Apps however, even if you don't meet qualifications. Better to have it in, that pass it up.

yah i know there are schools that accept it but you just need to be patient in finding one... try searching over the internet or personally inquiring to the school itself...
